Manhattan Beach with my Bitches

Relaxing Mother’s Day weekend so far. My mother was hit and killed by a drunk driver on her way to work at the US Postal Service when I was nine years old, so I’ve never really had a reason to celebrate Mother’s Day. But when it comes around each year, I find myself thinking about what my life would have been like had she not passed away. I normally don’t think too much about the past or hypothetical scenarios, but it’s hard to avoid given the ubiquitous Mother’s Day promotions.

Took Zoey and Ellie to the Manhattan Beach Pier for a quick walk before dropping them off at Samara’s house. Samara is my regular dog sitter who I use when I do Uber on the weekends.

How many hours per day can you drive for Uber?

Uber allows you to drive a maximum of 12 hours per day within a 24 hour period so when I Uber on the weekends, I almost always drive the full 12 hours each day and rather than leave my dogs alone all day, I pay someone to babysit them.

So exactly how many hours per day can you drive for Uber? Both Uber and Uber Eats allows you to drive a maximum of 12 hours per 24 hour period. When you hit the 12 hour limit, the system stops sending you ride requests and you’re forced to stay offline for a minimum of 6 hours before you can start giving rides again. This is obviously to ensure safety for both the driver and passengers.
