Fire Hydrant Inspection

My boss Scott testing the fire hydrant for the San Bernardino County Fire Department

As a fire protection contractor, all of our work is inspected by the Fire Department. They are required to physically witness that all of our systems are in proper working order when we’re done building. We completely flush the pipe to ensure the absence of any debris left in the pipe and then test the water pressure to ensure sufficient water pressure necessary to fight fires at the location. Here is my boss Scott opening the valve on a fire hydrant for the inspector at a job we did for Burrtec Waste Industries recently. You’ll notice the fire department inspector giving a thumbs up.

That’s my Prius in the background almost getting a free car wash.
